Will the real Kelly Kirschner please stand up? On To Tell the Truth, the impostors tried to fool the panel. In FL-16, Sydney Gruters’ own campaign is trying to fool voters. Her TV ad, “Paid for by Sydney Gruters for Congress,” uses artificial intelligence to stage a perp walk that never happened and to change a real photo of me into a scowl on an evidence board. I have never been arrested. The AI disclosure is in tiny type. Her husband, Sen. Joe Gruters, sponsored Florida’s 2024 law that requires prominent AI disclaimers. My attorney has demanded that the ad be pulled and retracted. Gruters personally profits from the data centers that are moving into our communities and raising our utility bills.
