General Election Shenanigans, Part 2 🗳️

Sydney Gruters is running for Congress in FL-16. She is also the wife of the Chairman of the Republican National Committee, the man in charge of the Republican Party nationwide. You’d expect her campaign to know Florida’s election rules. Instead, a Gruters staffer was filmed working an early voting site in campaign gear, inside the 150-foot no-solicitation zone. Florida law (F.S. 102.031) and our own Supervisor of Elections are clear: no one may solicit voters within 150 feet of a polling place or early voting entrance. That includes displaying political advertisements or campaign materials. A campaign shirt counts. If you can’t follow the rules at the polls, and you won’t buy American for your own campaign, why should FL-16 voters trust you with Congress? Do better. 📍 See something at your polling place?
