Fight in the Shade - Kelly Kirschner responds to Trump tweet

When we won the primary, I told the story of the Spartan soldier Dienekes, who was told that the Persian archers had so many arrows they would blot out the sun, he calmly replied, “Good. Then we shall fight in the shade.” Today, we find ourselves fighting in the shadow of dark money and powerful special interests. Joe Gruters made the call, and we got the anti-endorsement we have been waiting for from the resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, who is weighing in and putting in more resources. But we’re not backing down. We’re fighting for our communities, working families, and a government that works for us, not insiders and big-money interests. Join me in the shade. Chip in, spread the word, and let’s show them that grassroots voices are stronger than dark money.
